This Privacy Policy describes how your data is handled when you use the Recipes mobile application ("the App").

Data Collection

The App does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All information you enter into the App is stored exclusively on your device.

Data Storage

The App stores the following types of data locally on your device:

• Recipes — recipe names, descriptions, ingredients, instructions, and notes, stored in a local database (Isar).
• Photos — images attached to recipes, stored in the app's local storage directory on your device.
• Preferences — your language selection (English or Latvian) and theme preference (light, dark, or system), stored via SharedPreferences.

None of this data is ever sent to our servers or any third party.

Permissions

The App may request access to your device's camera and photo gallery solely for the purpose of adding photos to recipes. These permissions are only used when you explicitly choose to take or pick a photo. No images are collected or transmitted without your action.

Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or cloud services. The App functions entirely offline and does not require an internet connection.

Data Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete all App data by:

• Deleting individual recipes within the App.
• Uninstalling the App, which removes all stored data from your device.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. All content is user-generated and stored locally.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date will be revised.
